What weapons in your car...???
Just wondering some of the weapons you all keep in ur cars. I personally keep a steel fold out baton, it extends from 7 inches to 24 inches in the twitch of the wrist, it's split a few heads open in it's days.

ASP baton, tire irons (IBD - Improvised Bludgeoning Device), and a S&W M-640 for those trips to really rough neighbourhoods.
I count amongst my blessings that I've never had to use any of the weapons I own in anger. My hands and other body parts have been used a time or three to defend myself, but I've managed to evade all armed conflict. |

I have a minimum of 2 kinves on me at all times, so nothing gets left in the car, unless I'm going out at night, in which case I bring the pelet pistol in case or racooons on the way to the car. There's a rabies outbreak around here, and a dead raccoon is the only safe raccoon anymore.

I have been worried recently about whether an ASP baton would be considered a 'concealed weapon' by an over zealous police officer. As a result, I just have a big maglight where I can easily reach it, and, my handgun when I am carrying.

One good knife is all I have, but I only use it to cut open things or threads off of clothes. I know little about knives, and bringing it out would probably get me hurt more than I could do to the 'mugger' or whatnot.
--EDIT-- I mispoke. I don't have a switchblade. It's just a regular folding knife. All better now. --EDIT--

FYI Most states a Tactical ASP (expandable steel baton) is governed by CCW laws. However, it may differ in some states.
As for me, Ruger Ranch Rifle mini-14. For the odd coyote or fox I happen to see. Also a few IBD's and assorted knives. |

I've got my trusty baseball bat (and a mitt, just in case I get pulled over) in the back of my truck, as well as whatever knife I happen to be carrying (my current favorite looks frighteningly like a straight razor). The bat's broken a few bones in it's day (including one of my fingers before I cut the guy and took it away from him when I was 15), so I know it's effectiveness. One of these days I'm going to get off my ass and get my CCL, then I'll probably use either my 1911 or my Taurus Millennium .45 under the dash.

Ok, that above picture wasn't really my gun. I just used it for the time I was at work. Here is a picture of my gun.
It's a Compact Stainless, with Rose Wood grips. It only has a 3 1/2" barrel, but its a fun gun too shoot!

A Gerber Mark II in the center console. For a while I had a survival rifle (.22) under the seat, but that was when I was up in coyote/cougar country.

Go to the junkyard and find a car the same as yours and remove the housing the holds the vehicles computer make sure it still has stickers etc... Mount it under the drivers seat upside down like a drawer place a spring behind it and a latching mechanism on the front line it with foam, etc... to keep weapon quiet. when needed hit release and spring pushes drawer out between legs placing weapon where you need it. If you are stopped and searched the cops will not suspect anything it is justthe computer for the car.

Ruger P-90 .45ACP (CC) and a S&W Airweight .38 in the console.
Never even had to show them to anyone.
