OC vs CC vs NC
 

With my own state considering Open Carry (OC) this legislative session. I thought I would see what other TFPers thought about Open Carry (OC), Concealed Carry (CC) or No Carry (NC) and what is or is not allowed in your own state.

Oklahoma has had CC for around 15 years now, looking forward to OC in the near future.

That and open carry in suburbia is for uniformed patrol officers and fatass white guys trying to make a fashion statement.

I would carry while I hike but firearms are prohibited on most federal lands so that isn't a legal option.

Not so much any more. Anything under the National Parks Service (and maybe even all federal land) now follows state law. This rule change took affect February 22, 2010.

Notice I bolded the word land. Buildings are still off limits. Read this press release for more information.
