Since tilted weaponry seems so stagnant, I figured I'd start a thread on SHOT show, which is a Firearms/Military gear industry show done every year at the beginning of the year. It's catnip for gun-nuts like me.

I've been keeping my eyes peeled for some cool stuff:

Crye Magclip


Clip that hooks on to STANAG/Ar15 mags. Can slide them over your belt or on to MOLLE webbing. Good way to add mags on to your body without adding extra pouches.

S&W GOVERNOR

.45ACP(?), .45Colt, 410 shotshell revolver from S&W.

Guess you can't argue with sales.

Ruger LC9



7+1 9mm Hammer Fired pistol. Here you can see it's comparison to a LCP.

I think hammer fired thing's a wash--I'd want hammer fired to put my thumb on when reholstering (to prevent AD)--doesn't look like it's an external hammer.

Heckler & Koch - USA

Like the well known HK 416/piston operated AR except they tinkered with the buffer tube and bolt carrier, resulting in a super shorty AR15 style rifle. Colt had a similar Short-Compact-Weapon ("SCW"--AR15 with folding stock) but I never really heard or saw much about it. No details on availability.

Had this concept in my head a couple of years ago--glad someone acted on it.
