C02 gun
Hi, I'm searching for a accurate C02 rifle or pistol if it's easier to find.
mainly, it's to shoot for fun in the back yard but for now, I need it to get rid of the squirrel infestation eating everything in our shed. So the specs are: should take the c02 canisters(the ones that are like 2inch tall) and preferably have a clip or storage method to keep the gun semi automatic. (ie: not having to reload every time i fire). what i have. what i had before. similar to what i had before for a rifle but broke in the loading arm. I have a ton of .177 bbs but I wouldn't mind getting .22 if needed. My previous c02 was a pistol so now, i think I'd go with a rifle. Any recommendations?

Nice but a bit expensive. Sorry i didn't get back sooner. I just thought about this thread when i started cleaning my shed and found squirrel food, crap, and the damage they made in there. I REALLY want to get rid of them!
I'm gonna see if i can find a CO2 rifle for a little less price. anyone know the best 200$ or less bb or .22 co2 rifle?? I need something for here but my dad is probably gonna pay for it so if it's more than 200, he might not get it. I'm asking here too if anyone got more ideas for me? http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthread.php?t=121352

definently gotta second Ziadels reccomendation, altho it is a bit beyond your price range... maybe it would be in it if you got it without a scope?
my grandpa uses one of the RWS pellet rifles to take care of the squirrels on his property. works like a charm, the most accurate pellet gun I've ever shot, it is a single shot, but even without a scope I usually get the squirrels on the first shot, just dont take long shots, keep it pretty close so you know you can hit it.

My Daisy is very much like that Crosman, just in .177, and does what it has to. I would not bother with CO2 if you're looking for anything in single shot. Of course, nothing stacks up to the Anschutz, Walther, Steyr, and Feinwerkbaus I played with in my NCAA Div I days

I am looking for a gun that will be almost semi automatic. I can't be trying to reload with bolt action or anything like that. at least if theres a clip or something like that, then it's good.
the last one i had was very long to load because putting PELLETS in a gun has to be the correct angle and all to shoot. BBs are different but I'd rather have a .22 pellet rifle. but thanks for the info guys! i'm gonna keep looking for a bit. hopefully i find something great soon. There was so much destruction in the backyard. the squirrels must pay!

why do you need semiauto if you're shooting squirrels? (unless you're being attacked by an army of them)
then for $200 get yourself a real .22 rifle

I live in a house area with kids around so some people would freak out if I used a real 22 rifle. and I want the semi automatic in case I miss. As soon as you miss a squirrel, they know where it comes from and will avoid that spot and angle for ever after. at least the ones at my house do this.
and i asked for .22 because my bb 177 rifle didn't always kill them even if i hit from 20 feet away. with 22, i can get the pointed tip vermin killer pellets. cool?

What I just bought...... CO2, single shot TAU 7
Trouble with a multi shot, you lose long range accuracy....

Get a drozd.
It can fire semiauto or up to 6rd bursts. And it hits hard enough to kill a squirrel I think. (about 450fps) http://www.airgundepot.com/eaa-drozd.html
