What came out of it startled the crap out of me.

Looks like a mobile missile launcher, make and model, I don’t know.

Looks like the Israeli version of our MRLS ( Multiple Rocket Launch System ). It's a big, powerful, unguided, not-terribly-accurate area saturation weapon.

I donno. But it's headed this way! Run!

I took this photo a couple of weeks ago when I was in northern Israel. I zoomed in and cropped it so you could see it better. Lebanon is literally a few meters away. What came out of it nearly knocked me over. It was so loud and the sulphur(?)/smoke singed my nose hairs. I saw 2 rockets come out of there and watched the thing rotate etc. I took lots of pics of artillery, tanks, and guns. I will need help in IDing them if you guys are up for it. I have 4 rounds of something that I brought back as souveniers. Apparently they're live rounds. Oddly enough, the ammo box I had as a souvenir didn't make it through security and was confiscated at the airport, but 4 bullets made it through.

By the way, how do I get the picture to show up in the post instead of just the link?

When you view your picture in your photo album on photobucket, under the picture are 3 lines that you can copy and paste. The first is URL, the second is Link, the third is IMG. Copy and paste all the text in the IMG box into your post and that should make the picture apear as part of the post.
