online gun purchasing
Anyone ever buy guns online? I have looks at gunbroker.com but I don't know if I would feel good about buying one like that. The good news is that most guns I have looked at are several hundred dollars cheaper than I can find in stores.

From folks I’ve talked to, you can find some good deals, but be VERY cautious, there are a lot of scammers (incidents I’ve heard of were from sellers on gunbroker specifically) just itching to send you junk or nothing at all. Another factor to consider is the make of gun you're interested in. You'll be taking smaller risks if you’re looking for used guns that generally have better durability, good manufacturing backing/servicing, etc.

Is a pretty good place, the owner is my Uncle, and I made the site... Prices seemed pretty competitive when I was setting it up but I'm not too knowledgable... its definently worth a look they have lotsa AR15 stuff, pistols, bolt rifles, supressors... and more...

I generally wouldn't bother buying guns online. It's better to support you local brick and mortar stores. Unless you have a friend who is an FFL that is willing to do transfers on the cheap you will end up spending more on an FFL transfer and shipping then you would if you had paid the brick and mortar premium (there are always exceptionaly good deals). A good gun store will also help you out with any problems you may have with a new or used gun, and they can also help you work out kinks with the manufacturers. Believe me I know, half of the guns I bought have been defective.
The best of both worlds is to frequent online forums classified sections looking for sellers who live in your state. That way you can buy the gun FTF with no FFL and see it in advance (Subject to state law).
