My New Pistol :)

It's a Smith & Wesson Sigma series 9MM, I just picked it up last Thursday and haven't fired it yet, I love the lightweight of it (25 Oz. empty), and I think I may send the slide over to a good friend of mine to have it polished, but not sure about that yet

Although I was suprised at the lack of a locking safety, it DID come with a cable lock and two 15-round magazines. It's gotten pretty good reviews, and it's reasonably priced as well for anyone interested. I paid just over $300.

A couple friends and I do target shooting, and I'm a late bloomer getting in to it, all I had before was a .22 Rifle. It's also good for home defense, god forbid I should ever have to use it for that purpose.

Defend himself, his properties, and his liberty. Shoot tin cans or punch holes in bits of paper. Make noise on 4th July. The list is pretty well endless.

Nice pistol, hopefully you get to do some target shooting soon, I need to get out and do more myself hah.

I don't understand the desert eagle .50cal pistol. It's so friggin huge that it's pointless basically unless you are hunting stuff. Besides the ammo costing like 1 dollar for each bullet, it's so heavy that it's hard to hold straight for any legnthy amount of time. It kicks bad, and the shell ejects right into your face. Good times! They do look initmidating tho.

I shot a DE .44 mag once and the slide assembly seemed about as big as my forearm. They're pretty crazy.
