CPU Compatibility.
Ok, So I'm gonna upgrade my CPU and I was thinking about going with an AMD X2, this is the CPU compatibility list and I think im reading this correctly, but I want some other opinions, does this list say that I can use a AMD Athlon X2 on my mobo? (Gigabyte K8NS-Ultra 939).
http://www.giga-byte.com/Motherboard...0Ultra-939.htm this is what I was thinking of going with. http://www.infotechnow.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=3741 Thanks guys and gals!

Yes, it'll work. You may want to flash the October BIOS update before installing the new CPU.
Edit: Not sure if you meant that was the store you intended on using. The price is about $40 over market. Zipzoomfly.com is generally pretty good for CPUs.

Which one would you all choose? Im mostly a gamer, but I do like to do music and media stuff. I'm currently looking at these two listed on Zipzoomfly.com
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...ctCode=80725-R or http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...ctCode=80724-R the reason im asking is because the dual core actually has a lower clock speed and a few years ago I heard great things about the clawhammer core that was coming out.

From what I've heard, dual cores doesn't give much extra when it comes to gaming, since most games can't take advantage of multiple CPUs. For video encoding though, it should give a nice boost.
As for the two choices, I'd personally get the 4000+ since it's cheaper and most likely you won't notice much of speed difference to the 4200+.
