Macintosh Help
I accidentally dragged a .dmg file into my finder toolbar. I don't want it there but I can't get it out of the finder. I deleted the .dmg when I was done with it now comes up as a question mark.
e.g. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d1...screenshot.jpg How do I get the question mark out of there, I've done everything I could think of. |
view, customize toolbar... try that yet?
is this tiger or panther? |
Cubase? Q-BASIC?!?!
|
Control-click on the toolbar, and you can remove items and edit the toolbar.
Yeah, just tried it then. Control- or right-click ;) |
so i dont have to start a new topic:
I mom (a basic computer user) disiced it was time to upgrade her computer from win98 to a iBook G4 after using mine over brake. Could anyone recommend a good how-to book for someone new to OSX? |
The way OS X is set up, a book isn't terribly necessary. The help files on the system, if you ever need them, do a more than adequate job.
