Have to give him kudos for getting his patch out, and perhaps motivating MS. MS should be releasing their official (pre?) patch - Finally. Less than an hour away if they keep to schedule.

Microsoft originally planned to release the update on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 as part of its regular monthly release of security bulletins, once testing for quality and application compatibility was complete. Ran the test, found my system vulnerable, installed the patch, I am now INVULNERABLE!!

I just got an MS update message re a 'media file vulnerability'.

I think they got it too.
