Weird random video problem
I took a screen shot to better illistrate my problem: http://krycheck.iceware.net/photos/screenshot1.jpg
as you can see there's these lines in random places on the screen. I can remove them by refreshing the desktop. But I get more the more I use it. The more windows I have the worse it gets. On some days I dont get any but lately it's been really bad to the point it's useless. I've updated my ATI drivers but no go. I'm thinking my card is taking a dump. It's a X800 Pro so it's not like I can just go get another one Should I just kiss it good buy?

Well I reseated the video card and no luck. The problem now has been worse, not cause I reseated it. It was getting bad since the post. Now it appears like interfearence. Comes and goes like static. I'm waiting to see if I can swap cards just to make sure it's not the mobo.

The problem in the picture isn't random. It looks like a memory or addressing failure or possibly something with MB to card communications.
Does it do it cold? Right after booting? Can you remember any possible link between ambient temp and problem severity? Are you overclocking the card? If you have the software already, can you try underclocking both the GPU and VRAM clocks? AGP? Disable fast transfer. Just for troubleshooting. What motherboard? Latest BIOS?
