Help...windows to mac transfer....possible?
Hello to all you computer experts. I hope your day is going well.
My situation is this....I'm living overseas, I just bought a box full of presents online for my family in Toronto. Included was a piece of software for my brother. Nothing expensive...just a "How to play the guitar" program for my brother. Well, I just found out he bought a Powerbook G4 from Apple. He told me he was getting a Windows-based laptop just last week. I guess he couldn't resist the sexy Powerbook. Question...is it possible to somehow transfer this Windows program to the Apple Powerbook? Or should I just find a Mac program and send it to him, and tell him to send the other back to the manufacturer? Thanks for your time.

He may be able to get a PC emulator for his Mac, but it'd probably be cheaper to swap the guitar software.

Thanks for your replies.
I might tell my brother to try Salomon's suggestion or send it back and swap it for an Apple software. However, I noticed that Apple's software are quite expensive compared to any Windows program. Oh well. I appreciate your time in answering my question. I love the TFP.

Salomon's suggestion isn't going to actually work. Sure, you can copy files from the CD to the HD, but that won't get around the fact that you cannot run a Windows program on a Mac without an emulator.
One possibility is to try a demo version of an emulator and see if it works well enough to justify buying. It may be useful for other things too.
