Digital Cameras
So i'm looking to buy my first digital camera. I want something ultra compact that I can easily fit in my pocket when going out. It can't be too fragile I guess, I'm very careful with cell phones and my iPod and other electronics though. I'm looking to spend somewhere around $200-300. Definitely want at least 4 megapixels, 5 would be a little better. Flash is a must, as is a decent zoom. Adjustable shutter speeds could definitely be fun to play around with too...I hope i'm not placing myself outside my price range.
Anybody have any recommendations? I haven't gotten the chance to do much research on my own quite yet...

I have a Casio Exilim EX-Z50 that I got for about $250 that fits all of those criteria. 5 megapixel. The image quality doesn't come anywhere near my DSLR, but that's to be expected, and for what it is, its a great little camera.

there's lots of threads already about suggestions for different cameras, reasons, and links for comparing them. Please use the search button before posting.
