Can anyone give any recommendations with there experience with Verizon Wireless Service or heard anything regarding going to the family plan? I’ve got a few family members swopping over from Tmobile to Verizon with me
Anyone know of any good promotions/deals going on with them currently or some negotating tactics since Im bringing in over 3 more customers? or via our benefit plans here possibly.? Last but not least - I need recommendations on some Awesome/Good Verizon Wireless Phones - reasonable prices - or maybe even like a buy 1 get one free special dealio? |

As far as getting a "deal" on service, good luck. Cell phone companies don't really negotiate. When you sign a contract, you agree to let them own your soul for two years. You're welcome to change your plan at any time... so long as you're willing to extend the contract two years. As far as the family plan, it's a pretty decent deal. Starting at $70/mo for two lines (add $10/mo per extra line... so $90 if all 4 of you's were on the same plan) that gives you 700 anytime minutes, free nights and weekends, free calling to other Verizon Wireless customers, no roaming, and domestic long distance included. For $20 more per month, however, you get twice the minutes... so I'd at least go with that one, if not higher. Depending on how much you all plan to use the phones, they go up to 6000 minutes for $300/mo. |

I'll second Verizon. I don't like that they cripple their bluetooth phones (we'll see if the class action lawsuit stops this) but as far as service, they've got the best by far. I can get signal in places I couldn't dream of getting it with anyone else I've had in the past.
