Nivida fail to boot up agent

I've installed all the hardware and also installed the OS windows XP Home SP2 with no problem. When I restarted, I get this "Nivida Fail to boot up agent" some kind of error message like that. I think it's due to him having 2 video cards. Is there anyway i can fix this?

HD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.8 ST3250823AS 250GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache Serial ATA150 Hard Drive - OEM

Update: Turns out the computer isn't reading the hard drive and I can't figure out why. Everything is connected fine. I only have 1 so I don't think I need jumpers. Anyone know why it wouldn't read it?

I'm assuming the SLI is in PCI-x 16, yes? If so, how big is is power supply? It sounds like a power issue to me.. try plugging everything BUT the video cards and see if it'll run in VGA, at least. Likewise, look at the jumpers.. some need it even if they're the only bootable device..

we figured out that it isn't the video card, just that the motherboard and the hard drive don't recognize each other. I have a Seagate SATA HD and it doesn't show up in the bios. We also tried the seagate discwizard starter edition, which was supposed to let the bios and windows recognize the hard drive, but when we got into the discwizard it also didn't recognize the hard drive. We've checked the cables numerous times and they are plugged in properly and all the way plugged in. We're out of ideas, I think maybe the drive is broken or we are just missing something.

If anyone has information or any kind of help at all it would be extremely helpful.

How is that possible? If it worked BEFORE, then you were fine.

I guess you can try to reformat, and pop in the disk that came with the mobo or the disk that came with the drives for SATA support. Should be a floppy. If you don't have one, get the newest drivers and mount them to floppy.

Boot to XP CD with floppy in, and when it asks when if you want to install 3rd party drivers, hit F6 or whatever key it is, and tell it to install the RAID/SATA drivers.

the 7200.8 drives are known to be unrealiable. google it up.
i have an ati card card but when i read agent for some reason i think of services. i would try running msconfig and services.msc. see if there are any services, programs that should be starting up at windows start but isnt. mess around with that.

Ok we got it to work after about 5 hours of frustration. My friend who's much better with computers really is the one who got it to work, and I don't really understand what it was he did to make it work.
