Print Server
I got a Linksys Print Server.
http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satel...VisitorWrapper Thats a manufacture link. Well i had it hooked up to a Lexmark E210 Laser Printer. It works great. I changed printers from the Lexmark to a Konica Minolta Pagepro 1350w because it prints faster, The toner is cheaper and it prints 1000 more pages per toner. Anyways here is the problem. When i hook the printer up to the print server it dont work. i hooked it up the same as the lexmark. Ran the same setup as i did on the lexmark. But it just dont work with the new printer. I have no idea why it would not work. Any suggestions would be great. All computers have Windows XP Pro. Also i did hook the printer up via the usb direct and the printer does work. i just need to get it hooked up via the print server.

Have you checked to confirm that you're running the most recent firmware? And you might want to try resetting the print server to factory defaults and then configuring it for the new printer.

I would try a hard reset on the print server. Also, you will need to change the port that the printer uses (on the PC) if you had it installed before. Some times deleting everything and starting over is easier.
I used a wireless Linksys usb print server one time and the printer had to be powered up before the print server was turned on in order to work. Good luck.

Another thing I don't know if your print server runs off IP addresses, if it does print go into the server (check its manual for its fixed IP address) and just double check that you have the correct IP address selected
