Testing AIM...can someone IM me please now?
 

I am previous pc user, brand new to macintosh IMing. Lookslike the app to use is iChat. No clue. So I test please.

I'm assuming someone has helped you by now. (Hope so, at least). Give AdiumX a shot as an alternative to iChat. I find that I like it a little better as it's VERY customizable and works with just about any chat network.
