What the F happend to my Sharing Tab??
 

Ok, so in the past i've been able to change my file sharing properties. However today when I wanted to add another folder to my network shares I discovered that my securities and sharing tab has disapeared. Even on the folders that are still shared!!

I've tried changing simple file sharing, and I've even tried removing and reinstalling the "File and Printer Sharing For Microsoft Networks" service under the lan connection properties. Does ANYONE know what else could cause this funkyness and how to fix it short of a fdisk.

My folder properties look like this now:

click on my network places and on the left click on add a network place

Did you just install any patches from MS recently?

The simple file sharing has always worked for me
