Getting Subtitles to Work With Xvid - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

I have an XviD movie that has subtitles. I have the .sub and the .idx files in the same folder as the movie, and their names are the same. I can't get the subs to play in either WMP or Winamp. Suggestions???

this program vobsub should make the subtitles play in WMP... not sure bout winamp tho

try downloading media player classic. I use that and a codec pack and never have any isses with subs (mostly ogm's)

Fuck me, I forgot all about downloading a new codec pack for my laptop.
