Digital Camera straight to the Computer
I have a Nikon Coolpix 5600.
Does anyone know if there's any way that I can set the camera to video and just have it recording onto my computer without having to use a memory card? All I have is a 256mb and that provides about 6 minutes of video.

I don't know the spec on the camera but with my Sony DSC-P1 the best video resolution looks pretty bad after convert all the clips to DVD or SVCD. If you want good quality video it's better to get a camcorder.
Even if there is such a cable that allows you to record straight to your PC, are you going to carry your PC around so you can shoot clips? Get a larger capacity memory card, check out the largest possible that is compatible with your digital camera though. |
