USB port on Car Stereos
I have been seeing some car stereos that have built in USB2 ports on them, such as this one, but all they ever say is that they work with the USB2 Thumb drives. Has anyone had any experience with these? Do they, or do any other ones work with a standard USB2 hard drive? It would be nice to be able to get an inverter for the car, and be able to plug my 80GB external hard drive in.

The Insignia head units are manufactured for bestbuy by Alpine, They had these units at my old store and I could barely get the USB thumbdrive to work, I wanted to do the same thing you're thinking of, it'd be neat to have 160gb's of music right there in your car. If you pick one up, let me know how it goes.
