calendar/planner program?
Does anyone know of a clean easy to use calendar/planner program? I have been searching for a while, but I have yet to find something that is basic and clean. I just need something for personal use.
I used to have one I really liked. It was a sidebar and it reminded me to go to class. Thanks |

If you have a hotmail account, you get a diary function that can be set to email, IM, or SMS allerts to you, and it's free.

Outlook from the Word Suite is great - IMO. I haven't missed a meeting or deadline yet...you can customize it in several ways, too.

I'd have a look at Rainlendar. I use it and it's a Godsend. You won't notice a hit on your computer's performance, it loads on startup in the blink of an eye and sits quietly on your desktop/system tray without you having to open up a program. Having to open the calendar and reminders sorta defeats the purpose of them always being there.
I use it and I'd be lost without it. My current skin is called 'simplenote' and it's clean, simple, unobtrusive, everything good. |

I use a program called "Active desktop calendar", which shows a calendar on your desktop (duh). It's pretty good. Then there's a program (that used to be called) Konfabulator, which allows you to run little "widgets" (utilities). There's tons of them, including calendars.
And I use outlook, which has a calendar. And Talisman desktop, which has a calendar too. ...but I rarely need to use a calendar at all. |
