What colour code is that? - Program...
A while ago, I recall having a program whereby you could click on a part of an image, and it would give you the hexadecimal code and HTML colour (Sorry, "color"!) code for it, so you could then write HTML text with that exact colour etc.
Does anyone know what the program was called, or where I can get hold of it again? I've completely forgotton what it was called - it's been a couple of years since I last used it, and have lost it in a computer crash since then. Thanks in advance! Moo

Whilst that was good (thanks!), I'm sure there used to be a program where it would give you the colour from a jpg or similar. I wanted the exact colour code for this image:
PS - A pat on the back for the first person who can identify it!

Well, you can do it in Photoshop with the dropper tool. It identifies the green as #119911 or #009900 with "only web colors" ticked.

My wife swears there was a specific program - but that does solve the immediate issue. Many thanks! I realy should have thought of that myself...
DoH! My wife says "Thank you - I've learnt something there"

There is a firefox plugin called ColorZilla that sits right down in the left corner of the status bar and acts as a color picker. I find it very handy for web work. https://addons.mozilla.org/extension...nfo.php?id=271
the green is #119911
