Easiest question ever
I'm just having a brain fart here. On Windows ME, where do you go to empty your TEMP folder? Mine is overflowing
should be under, documents and setting, local setting, then temp. you may have to "view" hidden files though.
I'm not sure if Win9x has that same filestructure. If not, look for DISK CLEANUP in Start Menu > Program Files > Accessories > System > DISK CLEANUP, then on your (assuming) C: drive, check the crap off you want to clean up, temp files should be one of them...
Documents and Settings....where is that again?
C:\Documents And Settings
I dont think ME has documents and settings.. :p
thanks guys
documents and setting is a multi-user (NT in otherwords) thing.
On Windows ME the actual folder is just c:\Windows\Temp\ |

8.3 filenames vs. long filenames. Honest long filenames, not the Win-9x-gee-we-thought-that-was-working-but-oh-we-still-have-DOS-to-worry-about long filenames.
Heh, I still try and follow the 8.3 format for some odd reason .. errr ..... well.... 8 char file names.. :-/
at the top of your IE page click on tools then slide over to
internet options and click on it... In the middle of the page is "delete cookies" and "delete files" click on them---click on ok...click apply...click ok...you be done. to do a fast and easy job, down load the free utility CCLEANER. it cleans out temp files, recycle bin, cookies...and does a great job on your register... |
