The only thing I can suggest is making sure it's plugged in tight on the inside. Better yet, disconnect the cables and reconnect them firmly. Trying to scan for the hard drive in BIOS would help too.

Have you done anything?...You must have been doing something right before this happened, even if it doesnt seem related, let us know. Yes, its good to check connections, and even testing it on another computer would be a good idea. Does it spin up at least? If it isnt recognized for some configuration reason, I would think it would have still spun up at power-on. If it doesn't spin up, then its most likely a bad drive then...Hope that helps. Get us more info and keep us updated.
