Help! I just received this in my email....
I just received this in my email box, and I'm hoping one of you good people can help me. Is this genuine or a virus? The email address it came from is mail@yahoo.com. However, it seems like all of my mail from yahoo comes with a blue header in the inbox; this had no blue header.
ALERT! This e-mail, in its original form, contained one or more attached files that were infected with a virus, worm, or other type of security threat. This e-mail was sent from a Road Runner IP address. As part of our continuing initiative to stop the spread of malicious viruses, Road Runner scans all outbound e-mail attachments. If a virus, worm, or other security threat is found, Road Runner cleans or deletes the infected attachments as necessary, but continues to send the original message content to the recipient. Dear Yahoo Member, Your e-mail account was used to send a huge amount of unsolicited spam messages during the recent week. If you could please take 5-10 minutes out of your online experience and confirm the attached document so you will not run into any future problems with the online service. If you choose to ignore our request, you leave us no choice but to cancel your membership. Virtually yours, The Yahoo Support Team It contained an attachment called email_details.zip, which I haven't opened for fear of a virus. Anyone have any suggestions?
