Where are you? Are you on a network? Is your roommate's computer going to be on the network?
If you're on a network or on a shared Internet connection, simply share the folder that the songs are in and have your roommate copy the folder from "My Network Places, etc." onto his computer. Or you could send the folder to your roommate's computer over AIM. If you don't have an Internet connect on either computer or a network connection then the last resort is to transfer a secondary hard drive from PC to PC, copy the files, then place it back in the first PC. -Lasereth

thanks Lasereth. we will be sharing the internet connection when we move in a couple of weeks so all i have to do is move all of his music into one folder inside the "my network places" on my computer. that seems easy enough.....i think. i really do appreciate your help.

It's slightly more complicated than I described. When you're ready to move the files, PM me and I'll give a more detailed explanation.
