Need help ASAP! Need an LCD! - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

I really forget everything I learned about LCDs, and with all the brands cashing in on LCD production, I don't know who makes the best LCDs.

Recently my 'rents comp was toasted, and I'm assigned with building them the new machine. I've got the rest of the parts sorted out, but the monitor is something special for them

They won't be doing gaming or anything too l33tsk33t, but I want to help out on desk space and get them something nice. So, I'm looking for a decent 17in LCD monitor, preferrably black, perhaps silver, to go with the new comp I am building. My brother may use it lightly for gaming - only lanning some BF42 with me.

I'm looking to spend < $230. Please help

Try something from Viewsonic, LG, or Samsung.
