New Heatsink/Fan installed last night
This isn't a question, per se, just thought I'd put up some pictures because I'm happy with it
Old and Busted: New and Hot I haven't had a chance to test run the new temperatures on this one because I'm sleeving my power supply as we speak, but I hear the change is pretty extreme, and I've been told that this is one of the best Heatsinks on the market, so I'm expecting good things.

It's not over designed. Those heat pipes work incredibly well, even better than a standard heatsink. I saw a review where they punctured the heat pipe to see what happens...the thermal shutdown occurred it got so hot. It may be flashy, but it's sure doing an important job.
