Ti4200 Cool Fan

My Ti4200 fan is making alot of noise and not moving very well. I think its going bad and i do not want to fry mu ti4200. Yes its not the best card in the world but i like it. So i gotta find a new fan. I was wondering if anyone knows of a aftermarket fan that would work better. Because it always seemed to run real hot. And now that the fan is poopin out on me its realy hot.

Also my Ti4200 has a weird svideo port. Its has 9 pins on it instread of the standerd 4 pin svideo. I wanted to hook my TV up to my comp for watchin movies and was wondering if anyone knows of a adapter to go from 9 pin to 4 pin. i did some searches and couldnt find anything.

ERRR....its a Ti4600 not ti4200...my bad hehe

Insane

Look at the Arctic Cooling NV Silencer Cooler Rev 1.

It is a vga cooler which is compatible with your video card and it is extremely quiet. Pretty much inaudible. Great cooler and comes at a awesome price (really cheap).

Try taking compressed air and blowing that on the fan. Accumulated dust may be the cause.

BTW, the white connector you described is a DVI port for connecting to LCD monitors without having to convert the signal to an analog signal first.

mondak yes it has a DVI port. Which i am using. I have my main monitar hooked up to the VGA and my second monitor to the DVI. I run duel monitors. but between those 2 ports is a Svideo port. A round one with 9 pins. It says Svideo in the manual. But i bought this card off ebay used. And did not get the manufacters adapter i believe. Its suppose to come with a Adapter that u can use to hook it up to your tv i believe. I may be wrong.

Ah drat. Well then your only hope is Lasereth. He knoweth all about video cards. You could always take a digital picture of it and post it here in hopes that someone knows what it is too. . .
