Anyone experience this before? Need help
I get popups, but the damn ethernet cord isn't even connected! And I do not have a wireless connection...has anyone gone through this before, and if you have, do you know what causes this?
It's extremely annoying when I try to play a game and the damn game minimizes because of the pop up! Please help if you can.

Sounds like Adware to me. Try using Ad-Aware and see if it gets rid of it.
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ If that doesn't work, there's a number of adware/spyware/antivirus programs out there, make sure you have at least one of each and the most updated definitions and run some scans. I'm sure you will find a lot you didn't know about.

You definately need to run a spyware remover. I recommend the free one from MS:
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/secu...e/default.mspx I've been running it for a few days and I think it does a better job than Adaware.

I always run SpyBot, Lavasoft Adaware and Antivirus one after another. Update the signature files first before you run them. One or all of them should catch whatever is bogging down your system. Unhide any file or partition first, if you use Folder Guard or something alike.
