Around here, we like to make sure that you fully utilize the Google search engine. We set it up for purposes such as this. We have worked very hard making sure it returns the best possible matches to your queries. Use it wisely. Also, look at websites such as videohelp.com.

Personal Suggestion:
Try using DVD-decrypter and DVD Shrink.

The first will rip, decrypt and region decode the DVD.

The second will let you select just the movie or other files (this is called reauthoring) and then let you burn to DVD.

They also don't burn your personal information to the DVD like DVD Xcopy does.

Exactly what I do, it takes me like 2 hours per DVD though... I've got some friends that use DVDXCopy Platinum or something and they say it takes them like 20 minutes, which seems to be complete BS to me, but I dunno... is it possible?

I use mainly DVD-Shrink myself. It's great and lets you tweak what you want and don't want compressed if copying a DVD9 movie. A program to use alongside it is AnyDVD which helps with a whole bunch of small things, but one big thing is that it bypasses any copy protection on the DVD if it has any.

As for burning the DVD after ripping with DVD Shrink, I just use Alcohol120 after I rip the DVD to an .iso file. Easy and works perfect so far.

DVD XCopy is no longer supported. It's defunct. I now use 123 CopyDVD. Cost $29 at Comp USA. Works like a charm. No multiple steps such as decrypting first and whatnot. After installation, download the update and you're ready to go.

AnyDVD, DVDDecrypter, Elby CloneDVD, DVDFab Platinum, Nero, that's all you'll ever need.

I use DVD Shrink 3.2 and Nero 6.6 - they work together and the process is easy. Shrink will tell you when the disc is ready to burn and run Nero for you.

Another vote for DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink.

If you wanna "backup" your dvd to *.avi, look up Auto Gordian Knot.

*cough*bullshit*cough*

Personally, I spent too much time looking through google's search result when I input dvd copier software and all I got was spam spam spam and more spam. I like google but it could do a better job of filtering out legimiate(sp) results from advertisement.
