Sound Card Issues
I've basically acquired this two year old computer for free.
Although my computer knowledge is enough to get me by, I'm having trouble searching for drivers for my sound card. Apparently I have a C-Media Audio Device. This computer that I got is completely new to me, hence my frustration. I'm looking for a website that can scan all of my drivers and tell me what needs updating, I google'd and found one but needed to register and pay to actually download all of the drivers. help?

Is it a separate card or is it built-in to the motherboard? If it is separate, pull it out, write down any numbers or codes that you can see on the chips, then do a google. If it is built-in, find out what motherboard you have, then find the page for it on the manufacturers website.
Once you have figured out the model of the card, it should be pretty easy to find the exact drivers you need. If you need more help, feel free to PM or email.
