Question: PAL to NTSC Conversion - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Hey guys, maybe you can help me. Just started playing around with IFOEdit (easy way) in converting PAL to NTSC.... My issue is that the resoultion after updating the IFO files is still that of a PAL disc.... I have tried PAN/SCAN while selecting the res of 720x480 but it still seems to be comming out 720x576..... Any of you ever played around with this?

EDIT: Before anyone comments I thought I would throw this in here. I know this is not converting to NTSC, it merely tricks the DVD player in thinking it is NTSC.... Really converting takes waaaay too much time...... I am looking for a quick fix : )

Thanks. I have been to that site a couple times... I have not tried the "automatic letterbox" option however, I will give that a shot.
