Need help choosing a new video card
I am looking for a new video card.
I had a 256 ATI Radeon 9800. This time i would like to go with a Nvidia Geforce card. Could anyone tell me what would be a equivelent (SP) card to the 9800, I really want to keep the price under $150. any nvidia cards to stay away from? Thanks Don |

New, but equivalent to what you have now? ok...
Well, I think the price competitor for the 9800 is the 6600 GT.. the agp flavor has come down in price recently. I bought an XFX, I know some guys have had problems with it, but I have had nothing but pure gaming joy with mine, and its currently at $159 after mail in rebate at google: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduc...150-080&DEPA=0 If you get a bad one you can always ship it back. Think they fixed the fan problem and everything, anyways.
