1 Gig Ocz High prefom ram
X800xl pci-e vc
120 gb maxtor hd sata
Lite on 16x dvd burner
Lite on dvd rom
Audigy 2 zs sc

This thing is way fast I was shocked at how it performs it runs HL 2 with no problem.

Sounds like it'll last you a while. I wish I had the nuts to put my whole system together (and by nuts I mean cash, actually).

Silver my hdd did come with ncq but I really cant tell that big of a diff I upgraded from a 900mhz athlon with 256 mb of ram Ide hdd so this new system is so fast I'm still in aww over it

I think he was referring to whether it was winchester or newcastle core.

That's a good build - similar to my current rig. I'd look into getting a wd 74gb raptor for your OS and system files. The speed difference is night and day.
