dual monitor with 6800
i had no trouble with my 9800 setting up a dual monitor, but with the 6800 i cant get it to do what i want.
with the 9800, i was able to make setting changes as if i had 2 video cards. with my 6800, i only can make changes to 1. i could se where in relative space i wanted them to exist, i had the primary infront of me and a secondary to the left, my main was set to 1280x1024 and the second was 1024x768. i cant do any of this with the new card. further the only thing i can do is hoziontal span, and it has to have the primary monitor on the left. i want the start menu on the botom left of my main screen, not all the way over on the other screen. does any one know how to get this card to work properly? (ps sorry about the spelling, i just reinstalled everything and have not installed office yet)

Randomly, if you have a cheap old PCI video card laying around, you could throw it in and use it to drive the second monitor. I also have a 6800 and use an old Matrox G200 to drive my second monitor just for the sake of ease.
