Dell A920 Printer/Scanner
Does anyone out there know who really makes this P.O.S. I am having problems with my ink cartriges "clogging" up. If the printer sits for a day or so after printing the next print job will be streaked or the colors will not come out properly. I was thinking if it were made by someone else and Dell was just stamping their name on it I could try their cartriges.

Dell OEM's their printers from Lexmark.

Try running the Dell Printer Solution Center to realign the print head. Lexmark ink cartridges DO work in the dell printers. Don't waste your money on the Dell site's ink.
If you don't know what ink cartrige to use just look for a lexmark printer that looks exatly like the one you got but w/o the dell logo. Dell 720 uses lexmark black 16 or 17 (i know this one works b/c i've tried it), and i haven't changed the color cartridge yet but it should be lexmark color 26 or 27 FYI: There are 2 choices of color and black because one of them is called a "moderate yeild cartridge" which doesn't last as long as the standard.
