Need to open up a Word Perfect document, but no Word Perfect
Can anybody help me out here? I had Corel's Word Perfect on one of my computers a long time ago, like 7 or 8 years ago, and I have some documents that I saved from those days that I need to open and use right now. I also don't have Microsoft Word or Works, which I'm not sure if that would help anyway. I currently use Open Office to do my word processing, and they only support Microsoft documents. Am I just going to have to shell out money for Word Perfect just to open a few documents? Please tell me there is some other way to open these, or at least convert them into a format I CAN open.

there is probably a free word perfect reader program out there that will allow you to just open the document. try searching with google for one. textpad might be able to open it, i'm not sure.

There is a free word doc viewer available from Microsoft that might work.

Oh,
Corel also has a fully functional trial version (30 day) of Wordperfect Office 12 that I'm 99% sure will work. http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satelli...3/Trials/Login |
