Few other good utilities to checkout:

XP-Antispy 3.93: XP-AntiSpy is a little utility that let's you disable some built-in update and authetication 'features' in WindowsXP. For example, there's a service running in the background wich is called 'Automatic Updates'. I don't know what this service transfers from my machine to other machines on the internet, especially the MS ones. So I play it safe and disable such functions. If you like, you can even disable these function manually, by going through the System and checking or unchecking some checkboxes. This will take you approximately half an hour. But why wasting time when a little neat utility can do the same in 1 minute? This utility was successfully tested by lots of users, and was found to disable all the known 'Suspicious' Functions in WindowsXP.

CCleaner 1.17.90: CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) is a freeware system optimisation tool. That removes unused and temporary files from your system - allowing it to run faster, more efficiently and giving you more hard disk space. The best part is that it's fast! (normally taking less that a second to run) and Free.

If you plan on trying out other spyware removal utilities, be certain to check proper reviews regarding the software because sometimes some spyware removal utilities can be considered as spyware themselves.

After you've made plenty of spyware removals, it's highly recommended that you make winsock internet repairs before rebooting your computer. Most likely the affected spyware found on your computer made changes to your winsock protocol, by removing them, this has most likely fouled up your internet connection so be sure to run a fix for that found here:

Great list, personally, I use Ad-Aware in conjunction with Spybot and I've never had any problems with adware/spyware. Those two seem to get rid of everything.

Well, yes, I know there's others, but I'm recommending the ones that I use for my customers. I'm one of the computer technicians at Best Buy and we use "all" of the ones listed above. I figured I'd help out a few others without having to see me or any of my other fellow "Geek Squad" partners.
