CD icons not refreshing
 

For some reason my cd-rom drive icons are not refreshing when I insert a cd or remove it. If I boot up with Encarta cd in the drive, then that's the icon it displays untill my next reboot, no matter what I do. It's not really that annoying, but I just want to know what's causing it. I have a lot of settings, including services, customized, so there might be a problem in one of these settings, but I trully don't know where. Thanks up front for any help.

My computer does something similar. If I wait a few seconds (10-20) before inserting the new disc, it seems to help.

Solved the problem. It was my own dumb mistake. I used TuneUp Utilities to set up Windows just the way I want it (really nice soft. BTW) and there was an option not to monitor drives for media changes, which I selected.
