in IE6 want links to open in full-screen window
Whenever I click on a link with IE 6 the newly opened window is the smallest it could possibly be...about an inch by an inch on a 17" monitor meaning I gotta click it again to be able to see its contents. This only started happening after visiting a FARK link that said something about this will fark your IE...and it did!
How do I undo this. How do I make links open in a full size window...as they did before? HELP didn't help..or i cant find the right index word to get help on. See?! Thanks. |

I found this on http://www.theeldergeek.com/maximize...t_explorer.htm
It isn't exactly what you want, but at least you won't need to use a piece of third party software to do it for you. Quote:

This is what I do, works everytime.
![]() Open your first browser (Window), right click on a link and click on ( Open Link In New Window ) Now close the first window you opened. Right click on your taskbar and click on ( Tile Windows Horizontally ) Now all your windows should open maximized. |

MeanSpleen:
Worked like a charm (used Ctrl). The next time a window opens it will be the exact size of the last one except if you right click and select "Open in New Window" in which case it opened tiny again. Nomad: Thats where your solution also works like a charm. Thanks much. |
