[Python] Logging Module difficulties.
Hello guys and gals:
I'm having some difficulty with Python's logging module. It works fine in some cases, and fails in others. I figure'd I'd subject ya'lls brains to the problem before going to the Python lists and submitting it as a proable bug. I can't post all the modules here, but the files are all stored in a subversion repository located here: http://svn.taacs.python-hosting.com. It is also web-accessable via http://taacs.python-hosting.com. The TAACS and TAACS.MonitorController loggers work fine, but the TAACS.Logic logger fails every time it is invoked, claiming: Code:
Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python2.4/logging/__init__.py", line 712, in emit self.stream.write(fs % msg) ValueError: I/O operation on closed file I don't get it (I know what a closed-file error is, but I can't figure out why it would be closed). Can anyone give me a hand?

I'm looking at the file Logic.py right now, since it looks like that is where you've put the offensive code. When does Python complain: during creation of a Logic object, or when you try to invoke the report method?
Oh, and what version of Python is your library expecting? I might dig a little deeper after I post this, but I just thought I would throw a couple random questions out at this late hour |
