Print Screen - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

I'm using windows XP Pro on my box and I noticed today that "print screen" doesn't work. any thing that I may have done to screw this up? I think its weird, nothing tragic just curious as to if there's something I did or a random occurance. Thanks in advance.

Are you trying to print it out on your printer?

Hitting print screen doesn't do that, It copy's whatever's on your screen and then you can paste it into photoshop or a program like it.

I know, I'm just trying to paste an image of my desktop into paint and it doesn't do ANYTHING. and I'm like "what the hell, this has worked before"

so no, i guess i should have pointed out I know what it does in the post... my bad.

Hey, my computer did this just a minute ago too! Try restarting. Seemed to work for me.

Do you have something on your keyboard that says "F Lock"? If so, it changes the usage of your F keys, especially if you have a Microsoft Keyboard.

I have a Microshit internet keyboard but it doesn't have the "F lock" thing, I'll try to restart here in a sec and see if that works.

Try doing an "alt+printscreen" it only takes a picture of the active window. You desktop may be too large to paste.
