Anyone know if there are any other ways to use Artic Silver Ceraminque, other than on the CPU of course? I've got a couple of tubes just sitting around, just wondering if I could use it on anything else to help cool it any. :hmm:

You could test how effective it conducts heat compared to other household products. Smear AS on one of your fingers, and cover 8 other with various household products like liquid soap,tooth paste, grease, hair gel..etc. Place all your fingers on a hot plate on the stove and count slowly to 10. Judging by the degree of bunrns on your fingertips you have found the best conductor. Mabey you should use soap as your conductor of choice?

How do you apply it to your video card Dilbert?

You could use it on your video card or mainboard north bridge south bridge mofsets ect. I used AS5 on my video card and CPU and it makes a great difference I've found.

Where/How would I apply it on my video card? I have an ATI Radeon 9600XT.

I have an MSI 9800 Pro with a 360(XT)core. I just took the heat-sink off, removed the pad that was on the GPU and applied a bit of AS5 on it. No problems.
