Italicized words
A couple of days ago, my computer suddenly decided to display random texts italicized. Does anyone know how to make everything straight again?
|
What operating system are you using, and where specifically does the italicized text display?
Assuming you're running windows XP, right click on your desktop, and go to properties. Select the appearance tab and click the "advanced" button toward the bottom of the window. If any of the text in this new window displays as italics, click on that text, and then click on the "I" to turn off italics. |
Nothing's italicized in that menu. And it's only some of the texts that are italicized. It seems that everything not bolded is italicized, and it only happens on certain sites, ezboard is fine, but vBulletin isn't.
I have both firefox and IE, if that's a factor. |
What does it say in the page style and character encoding areas of the view menu in firefox and IE?
|
Firefox: Basic Page Style, Western (ISO-8859-1)
IE: Chinese Simplified But in Internet Options > Fonts, if I select Arial, the preview is italicized, does that have anything to do with it? |
