Slipstreaming Hotfixes?

Is it possible to slipstream hotfixes, or critical window updates onto a windows xp installation?

I know about slipstreaming service packs, but I was wondering if someone had found a way of slipstreaming hotfixes.

You can integrate post-SP2 hotfixes the same way you integrate SP2 into a XP CD. Pre-SP2 hotfixes require a little more work but are doable.

See Combination installation: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro.../hfdeploy.mspx

For those of you who don't know what slipstreaming of services packs is, let me try to explain.

Unless you just recently bought a new XP cd, you will have a cd that has XP and no service pack on it or XP with SP1(a) on it. If you do a format and reinstall of XP, then you will need to update to SP2 afterwards. What slipstreaming allows you to do is copy the contents of your XP cd onto your harddrive, and then integrate the SP2 service pack into folder on your hdd and then burn a new cd of XP with SP2. This saves a lot of time if you plan on doing this alot. There is a website I found that explains step by step how to do this, and it even has images.

Zero2: Many of the hotfixes post SP2 are coming with version 5.4.15.0 of Update.exe. You can just use the /integrate switch (i.e. /integrate:"drive":\"folder") to integrate them into your xpsp2 version.

If you're into slipstreaming, you might want to take things to another level. I'm working on my own right now.
