LCD Monitor Question
I am planning to buy a Custom Made PC from eCollegePC.com. I was going to buy a 15" LCD monitor from them as well but I feel I might be able to save money by just purchasing the LCD monitor from newegg. The 15" they were trying to sell for $229 can be found here http://www.amptron.com/html/Monitor_529A.html . The PC I'm buying from eCollegePC will either be a Blue or Silver <a href="http://www.nzxt.com/Guardian.php">NZXT Guardian</a> I haven't decided yet. So I prefer if the monitor were silver or blue(?) to match or at least looked a bit better than the plain looking $229 monitor this site wants to sell me.
I have one more question, if I do purchase an LCD elsewhere from say.. newegg, how difficult will it be to get it to work with my custom PC? Is it as simple as just plugging the LCD monitor into a video port on the back of the PC? Or will I need to install parts or software? Also, are there only certain kinds of LCD monitors that will work with my PC? If you need any specs and information about the PC please ask. Thanks for your help guys. better yet, you seem to know what you want, why dont you just buy all the parts from newegg and save. its not that hard to do hardware setup. you save and learn at the same time. also look at pricewatch.com you might find better prices.
and i've never heard of amptron moniters, do you know anything about them> |
