How do I fix a missing file?
I thought I had fixed my computer but I don't think so. It's moving very very slow and I notice that the performance graph on task manager jumps from 0% cpu usage to 100% cpu usage with very little in between.
The only thing that keeps coming up with Systemworks is that I am missing a file c:\programfiles\commonfiles\installshield\professional\runtime\0700\Intel32\DOTNETINSTALLER.exe file: MSCOREE.DLL. what is this file and how do I replace it. I have reloaded windows XP over and over again and had to delete all EA games because they were interfering with XP being reloaded. Is there a hot patch or hot fix i can go to replace this file? I notice it says Intel 32..... does this mean maybe there is a link to my Pentium 4 missing and the computer is having a hard time communicating with it? Any help would be deeply appreciated. |
Here is all the info and the fix for your issue. Basically it is a part of the .net engine. Just download the fix and install it, should clear it right up.
