Slow loading browser
I'm using Firefox 1.0 and I've noticed today that when I'm clicking on a tab or opening a new tab, there's a lag between when I clicked and when it reacted.
I don't think it's because of viruses or whatever because I just returned from a holiday and I'm pretty sure it was fine before and I haven't downloaded anything suspicious. (Could be totally wrong, of course) I suppose there's also my dad, but he hardly downloads anything or tinkers with the computer anyway. Help, anyone?

I think you can empty your cache and history in Firefox. I'm at work now and I have IE so I can't look into it now. Then again, I'm assuming you've got an WinTel/WinAmd or Win/Whatever, just another Windows bug....
Run spyware/adware checker, antivirus, System Mechanic if you have it, defrag your hd, and hopefully everything is peachy again. |

I noticed the same thing with Firefox version 0.9 on windows, it turned out that Firefox was using 100% cpu. I never did get to the bottom of it and the problem may not exist in 1.0 but check Firefox's cpu usage in an effort to try and narrow down the possibilities if <b>sashime76</b>'s advice doesnt fix it.
